When you are trapped or stranded on a desolate island without any
other people living on it, what would you usually always do? You’d write the SOS signal
on the sand, right? But did you know
that there is a SOS for our tummy too? That's right!
SOS breakfast is
a chipped or ground beef served with gravy on a piece of toast. It is also a
very popular breakfast for the Military. They commonly call it "Shit on a
Shingle" or “Stew on a Shingle" or "Same Old Stuff". It is
also often served on bagel, English muffin, home fries or rice.
But in Bretto's Coffeeshop in
Angeles City, you gotta love their unusual SOS breakfast. Creamy chopped pork
sausage on toast is one of my favorites on their menu. It’s so creamy and
tasteful!
